I chose to revise my article completely because I don't feel it originally represented the message I was trying to give. In this one, I feel like I focused more on one singular topic rather than being all around the place which not only helps the focus of the piece, but the general focus of the reader. Before I was talking about all the trends of the year, but I soon realized I focused mainly on customization, so I decided to do an entire article specifically focusing on customization instead of trying to do this huge broad topic that was nearly impossible for me to do. I attached the revised article. 

As I have seen through all other distribution plans from real life magazines, I think the best option would to be do a mixture of both print copies, and allow for online subscriptions. The way I think would give me the best possibility of maximizing my subscribers is through doing videography tv commercials and through trying to make strides in the social media world outside of just Instagram. There are thousands of apps like Poshmark and DePop where people buy and resell clothes they think fit into the fashion world today. I think if I have a mixture of an app where you could view the pieces we show in the magazine but where you could also buy them, it would distribute my magazine information quite well.

I decided to change the layout of my article for my third quarter submission as well. I think before, especially since I used a different program that wasn't made for the production of magazine spreads, it looked really messy and unprofessional. The first one shown below is the first page of the magazine, and the second is the second page. Although you can't see the outline and guides of where it ends, in the extra white space is where I am going to place my text for my article. I think the layout of this version, especially with the overlapping and text used on the first page, it gives it more of a Vogue-like feel but with a special twist. I also think since for my article I am talking about DIY's, also know as do-it-yourself, the text and off balance between the words really gives it that special unique touch I was looking for rather than the boring article title I had prior.

These are some of the new photos I took to add into my third quarter submission. I think after I edited some of them and just took some new ones, it gave more variety in the pictures I had previously, and I think the composition seen on some of these are better than previously. With the ones I had before, they were good but I don't feel they captured the feeling I was trying to convey in my magazine overall. With the reflection photo, I really wanted to add that one in because I feel like its symbolic for looking inside yourself for things important to you. I think it conveys the topic of both being who you want to be and expressing yourself through fashion, but also who you want to be as a person in general.
